SYSTRA Scott Lister Continues to Shine in Space
Joint Project (JP) 2008 Phase 5B1 Tranche 2
Australia is reliant on space systems and capabilities for Defence and national security purposes. The Australian Defence Force (ADF) utilises these systems and capabilities to undertake essential tasks, ranging from critical missions through to joint expeditionary operations either independently or as part of coalitions. Key to space power is taking advantage of the incredible capabilities provided by Defence and Civilian satellites.
Systra Scott Lister (SSL) is contributing in this domain through provision of technical support to Joint Project (JP) 2008 Phase 5B1 Tranche 2. Dr. Vamsi Madasu from the Government, Security & Technology (GST&T) team of SSL is providing on-going engineering services and support to the Satellite Communications Systems Program Office (SATCOM SPO) within the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) of the Department of Defence.
Dr. Madasu’s significant experience in satellite communications (SATCOM) Engineering, Engineering Management, Safety Engineering and Technical Certification is assisting in the development and endorsement of engineering artefacts and undertaking multifaceted engineering activities within the frameworks of legislation, regulation, established principles, work practices and procedures in support of Defence capability objectives.
